My mom and I recently went on a trip to Asheville, North Carolina, as well as Isle of Palms in South Carolina. This was our annual girls trip. As long as I can remember, my mother and I have gone on an annual girls trip to Asheville, which are some of my favorite trips as well as memories. We also love Isle of Palms, and though we don't usually take girls trips there, I was very excited that we had added it to this one. Not only was it a fun trip for spring break, but it was also a great opportunity for me to bring my camera and take some photos.
The first place we went was Asheville. We went to the Biltmore grounds first, and I decided to take photos of the flowers in full bloom. The contrast between the bright flowers and the more neutral backgrounds really made the flowers stand out. I used lots of different angles to capture the unique blooms, sometimes coming from the side, sometimes coming head on. After I took the flower photos, we headed to the farmyard, where there were cows and goats. At the goat pasture, there were lots of teensy-tiny baby goats. So cute!
After Asheville we went to Isle of Palms, and there I took lots of pictures of the water itself, but also the birds and wildlife. Though it was not at all easy capturing the birds in their constant movement, I managed to get it done. I also squatted down and took photos of the tide itself coming in, which I had thought about at our last beach trip to Topsail Island, but my photos of it at Isle of Palms turned out much better. What a fun trip and I can't wait to do it again next year!
I enjoyed reading all about your trip. You are making so many wonderful memories with your mom. You will always cherish these special times together. Love the beach photos and especially the one of the goat in motion. Pretty cool!! 😘
